Darcy Doogan AKA D3W4N, is one of the busier personalities in Sydney dance music. Primarily a House DJ, he’ll play anything funky, jazzy, bangin’, rollin and/or soulful. He has fought hard to avoid being pigeon-holed and it’s starting to pay off.
So far this year, he has:
- Supported Purple Disco Machine at the iconic Greenwood Hotel - Continued a monthly residency at Tatler Sydney
- Supported Norm De Plume, Attic and Just Seba at Lucky Cat Recently: - Launched a monthly Friday night under the Soul Division banner with Jimmy Brus
- Played his first bush-doof, wowing campers with a 3 hour journey from Soulful House to Detroit Techno
Online, Darcy serves as admin for House and Techno Sydney (HATS), and Sydney Underground Electronic. He runs House event company/record label: Deeper Rhythms and techno events through Synthesis. He does a 2-hour show on OzzMixx every week. Between all of this (and a day job), he also produces the occasional EP!
